Product Information:

Giclée - A giclée is the term for a fine art or photographic reproduction that uses high quality inks, generally in a large format inkjet printer. In addition, we use 80lb/230 gsm cover weight matte paper.  We can use heavier weight paper, such as 100lb cover, but customers tend to feel that the 80lb is sufficiently heavy and it can be rolled in a tube, whereas the 100lb requires a more expensive shipping process. We use this process for all of our on-demand printing, unless otherwise requested.

If you would like a 100lb cover weight, let us know and we can give you a quote!

Posters vs. giclées - Both are reproductions on paper, but giclées use an archival, heavier paper, and archival inks.

Mini Prints – Our mini prints (11" x 14" and smaller) are printed on 100lb glossy cover

Canvas - Our canvas meets Wihelm Archival Quality Standards.  It is 20 mil/470 gsm and has one of the brightest white points for a natural, OBA-free canvas.

Some of our images are offered as giclees on canvas.  These have a 2" color border or a 2" mirror border to wrap around stretcher bars, unless you request otherwise.  They are unsealed, however we recommend adding 2 coats of museum-grade giclee finish.  We ship these rolled and ready to stretch - either by you or by your favorite framer.

Notecards - Our notecards are standard size of 5" x 7" unless otherwise noted.  Depending on the image and vendor, will depend on the weight and texture of the paper.
